ANNA DEWAR GULLY, MRES
Anna has over 15 years of direct experience leading transformational change and strategic change projects in large public, private, and government organizations and sectors in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Throughout her career, Anna has guided numerous Boards of Directors, CEOs, Senior Leaders through complex organizational culture, policy, and strategic change initiatives. She has also coached frontline, management, and senior staff in a variety of contexts on how to successfully navigate and advance progressive change.
Anna’s accomplishments in leadership roles in organizational strategy, culture change, and public policy across a variety of sectors, including, the health sector; the social welfare sector; and her consulting experience in the private sector (Energy, Tech, Professional Services Firms) on gender equity and strategy demonstrate her deep commitment to designing and advancing transformational change that improves equality, effectiveness, and prosperity.
At the Sum Institute, Anna guides leaders and equality champions through strategic and transformational change initiatives in order to embed gender equity -- and equality of opportunity, more broadly -- into organizational design, organizational strategy, and organizational policy, practices, and procedures.
Anna has a Masters of Research Degree (MRes) in Public Policy and Management from the University of London (Birkbeck) and a BA from McGill University.
DR. KRISTEN LIESCH
Kristen brings a richly diverse background to her consultative work, a career which has touched upon several sectors including education, health care, tech, finance and professional services.
Her unique academic background informs her methodology as a strategist and consultant working to advance equity. Combining practices and theories from the social sciences, education, and interdisciplinary humanities, Kristen supports leaders as they work toward cultivating more equitable organizations.
Kristen’s ability to establish trusting and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and leaders is integral to her record of successfully coaching leaders through complex talent management transitions while increasing employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
At the Sum Institute, Kristen supports leaders and equality champions through the Institute’s unique strategic-planning processes. She also advises various for-profit enterprises in Diversity & Inclusion, and provides guidance and mentorship to several equality-focused non-profits.
Kristen has a PhD from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. She is also the Founder and Principal of Blue Switch Consulting Inc.
